Some glue to stick the eyes and the nose to the doll

How to make a cute doll: DIY tutorial

Making a doll: step 1: First of all, take a plastic bottle. Wash it well both inside and outside. This Plastic bottle is going to be the body of our doll. Make sure that the bottle has a wide neck.

Making a doll: step 2: Unscrew the cap of the bottle and take the bottle only. The framework of the body is ready. The bottle has to be big enough to be the body of the doll. It is the size of the bottle that determines the size of the doll.

Making a doll: step 3: Take an Ice-cream ball and wash it and dry it well. This ice-cream ball is going to be the head of the doll. Make sure that the head is not very large compared to the bottle. If it is so, the doll will have a funny look. Always it is better to use a bottle big enough to suit the size of the head.

Making a doll: step 4: Remove the lid of the ice-cream ball. Now the ice-cream ball head has an opening in it which can be fitted to the bottle. The opening should be almost the same size or a little bigger than the neck of the bottle.

Making a doll: step 5: Insert the neck of the bottle into the hole in ice-cream ball. If it does not fix correctly, you can fix it using some sticking tape. Once the ball is fixed on top of the bottle, you will get something as shown in the picture. Now the body and head of the doll is joined together and is ready.

Making a doll: step 6: Now paint the bottle first with a coat of white paint and once the white paint dries, paint it in colourful colours. You can even draw two arms and legs as shown in the picture. Let it dry completely. Do not touch the doll until the paint dries completely.

Making a doll: step 7: After drying, using the glue, stick two black buttons in the place of two eyes as shown in the picture. Stick the smaller red button as the nose. You can also draw a curving line as the mouth using permanent marker. The face of the doll is now complete.
