Never underestimate your child in front of others

Some parents have the habit of degrading their own child in front of others by comparing the good marks and attitude developed by the winning child. It is not good to compare and degrade the child as it would affect their mental preparedness for the future task. The child would get into conclusion that he cannot over take or perform better than other children as they already put a bench mark of performance. So it is the parents who must take lead and convince the child that he is better than anybody else but should improve further.

This is a nice thought dealing with child psychology. The child has a tender mind and it is natural that it would get hurt if we degrade him in front of others. In fact it is always better to praise him in front of others to motivate him and then if he does some mistake then to bang him in isolation. Parents should be very careful in this aspect.
