Do not give fur toys to the infants

Infants with 6 to 8 months of age are vulnerable to the attraction of colorful toys and we the parents oblige them with all kinds of toys. Now a days the fur toys with all kinds of animals are sold in the market and the little infants also like them because of the natural looks. For example the lion, tiger, dog and cat fur toys looks the same and the infants gets excited and keep the toys in their mouth and there are every chance of fur going inside mouth and then to stomach which may cause the loose motions and untold pain for the little ones. So avoid fur toys for the infants.

A good advisory by the author. Children are a sensitive lot and can get severe infections from no where. It is better to avoid any such toy which has a potential of creating such unhygienic situation. Prevention is better than care.

Even if one strand goes inside the stomach the child gets into loose motion mode and stopping them would be hell task for new parents.

Very true. Kids may get attracted to fur toys because of their puffy texture and attractive colors. Many kids select fur toys as their cuddles. You should avoid buying it for kids. But in case, if you got it as a gift or your kids don't have the habit of chewing or sucking them, you can prefer to have them at house. Still it should be properly maintained. These toys can be put in washing machine and dryer. Make sure, no plastic things are there in the toy.
Air dry will take days to dry. But it is good, if it is placed under sunlight.

Thanks Srimathi for a good response to this post. Children chew or suck anything given to them and fur toys have the hairs and it may go inside the child mouth and thereafter to stomach.
