Children are taking interest to recipes making

I came across many YouTube videos which are connected to normal and yet useful recipes being made and presented in their own language and thus makes great interest to watch and follow. Nowadays the children are spending more time with the parents and naturally get interest into recipe making and the parents are also making way for the child to learn all the cooking intricacies which would be useful to them in future. What is your view on this. Should the children concentrate on studies and games and not the cooking chores.

It is always said that children should pay more attention to their studies mainly and should not think much about all the other activities. But I believe that whatever work you are interested in, you must do it and let your children do it as well. If children are getting interested in different types of recipes, then there is no harm in it, but if it is because of this that children are completely destructed from studies, then it is right to stop or set a limit.
