Regarding posting the questions on Algebra.

    HI,

I am Aparna here. Would like to ask one question.
Why there is a less preference given to Algebra from Mathematics in posting questions.
Upto my knowledge, it starts from 5th class but follows in the higher studies also. Then, why cant we post simple or logical calculating questions along with the verbal texted questions. Because Arithmetic and Algebra mostly related to symbols which are little bit tricky and logical and it has a very good impact on students. Some may like and some have fear of Algebra. In these cases, repeated work will help them.
So, please advice me on this.

    Thankyou.

Aparna, I do not understand what you mean by the statement, "Algebraic equations are given less importance" as these are the questions that are completely based on logic and intellect. Hence, we give equal preference to them as other categories and in some cases, we give them the highest cash credits provided that they are the questions that arouse interest in the kids and are not just based on some simple formulas or mathematical operations. If you are referring to any particular question of yours, please provide the link to it so that I can justify myself.

Aparna madam, in Mathematics, every topic has its own importance. Nothing can be left. You can become a first person to post wonderful resource on algebra in Mathematics.

    HI Sita Kalyani,

I know mathematics is a beautiful and meaningful subject. In that Algebra plays an important role in my view. But most of the algebric trics are related directly with numbers and signs, without any explanation of the question which we can post here as per the Studyvillage concerned (because we cannot post the direct questions here).

    regards
    Aparna
