    Rejection of practise test questions

    Vivek,

Kindly explain the rejection of my following questions provided by the below link

    http://www.studyvillage.com/questions/PostExamQuestion.aspx?QuestionId=2196

http://www.studyvillage.com/questions/PostExamQuestion.aspx?QuestionId=2231(reason given: delta is not formed by one river. My question asks the 'name of the delta' and not by the name of river or rivers forming the said delta.

I think that you get worried the moment your first question is deleted in that section. Please do not get worried as the editors have exercised their best jurisdiction while editing your posts.

First question read, "What is the deficiency disease of vitamin A?" Do you think that it is the correct questions. The correct question should be, "What is the disease caused due to the deficiency of vitamin A?" I think that you should be careful while framing the questions as such silly mistakes can be a matter of ridicule for our site.

Second question was about the largest delta in the world that is no doubt, the Ganger delta. But it gives an impression that the Ganges delta is formed by the Ganga river only that is not the case. It is not your fault but there are other names to it that correctly portrays the scene like the "Ganga Brahmaputra delta" that speaks of the rivers involved in the formation of the this delta. Hence, it is a much better option. You could have provided a clarification regarding the rivers involved in the formation of the Ganges delta as the kids would not misunderstand the question at least or they do not get half or improper knowledge.

Please think that the site is for kids and frame your questions and answers accordingly. There is nothing to worry if your question got deleted.

    With regards,
