    QUESTION WORDS
    Most of the questions that you ask or are asked are made up of question words. Almost all the question words begin with a "Wh" and because of this they are also called Wh words. Only "how" begins with a "H".
    Examples.
    1. WHO is used for people.
    Who is the man?
    2. WHICH is used for things or animals.
    Which book is yours?
    3. WHAT is used for things and animals.
    What animal has stripes on its body?
    4. HOW is used to ask about the way something is done.
    How do you bake a cake?
    5. WHERE is used for places
    Where are they going?
    6. WHOSE is used to show belonging.
    Whose dog is that?
    7. WHEN is used for time.
    When are our holidays?
    8. WHY is used to ask for a reason.
    Why are you late?
    Now, complete the sentences below with the correct question words.
