Countable nouns are names of people, places, things that we can count e.g. I have three pens here, noun is pens as we can count it. Countable nouns can be have a singular and plural form e.g A book ,two books,three books.
Uncountable nouns are names of uncountable things, we can not make them plural by adding -s, because they only have a singular form e.g. Water, Work. We can make some uncountable noun countable by putting a countable expression in front of them e.g. 2 glasses of water
Possessive nouns are used to show ownership e.g. The dog's kennels
