Navaratri Festival Coloring Pages for Kids

Navratri is a Hindu festival of worship and dance. The word Navratri means nine nights in Sanskrit. In this festival people play with Garba and perform Dandiya for all nine nights. So here I have attached few printables of this Indian festival.

In Navratri, the first three days are spent worshipping the Goddess Durga, also known as Kali, to destroy all evils. The next three days are spent worshipping Laxmi, who is the Goddess of wealth and prosperity and the final three days are spent worshipping the Goddess of wisdom. Sweets are prepared for this celebration and childrens and elders dress up in colored costumes for the Dandiya and Garba performances.
