Guru Nanak birthday - Prakash Parv


In these worksheets we have highlighted some of real life stories of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji through images. He was the first guru of Sikhism. Story in each worksheet gives a moral advice. parents should tell these stories to their kids to let them attracted towards religious activities.

Sikhism means - "To learn". Guru Nanak dev ji was the first Guru of Sikhism. He was born in 1469 at Talwandi village in Lahore. His birthday is celebrated as Prakash Parv on full moon in the month of November. He taught us to help the Needy and poor. He travelled various places in different countries on foot for around forty years. He visited Haridwar, Baghdad, Banaras, Himalayas, Bidar, Ceylon, Mucca, Iraq and some islands too. Guru ji considered all human beings equal regardless of their religions, wealth, gender and color and given a belief of god as almighty, one and invisible.
