The crocodile's wife loved the Jamuns and told her husband to get her some every day, crocodile happily agreed to that. Monkey and crocodile become very good friend and spent more and more time together. One day crocodile's wife thought that if the monkey eats these sweet Jamun everyday than his heart would be very sweet. So she told her wish to crocodile and asked him to invite the monkey to their house for dinner.
The crocodile's wife threatened him saying that if he did not get her the monkey's heart, she would not eat any thing and die for sure; now he has no excuse. He went to the monkey and invites him for dinner. The monkey happily agreed. When they reached the middle of the river, the crocodile tell him the truth. The clever monkey told him that he would gladly give up his heart but he had left his heart in the Jamun tree. He asked the crocodile to take him back so to get his heart from the tree.
The silly crocodile take him back to the Jamun tree. The monkey quickly jumps from the crocodile's back and scampered up the tree to safety and told the crocodile to tell his wife that she had married the biggest fool in the world.
