Active and Passive voice

This is the first lesson on grammar. It talks about Voice - Active and Passive. In active voice, as the word 'active' suggests, the subject or the doer is active.

In passive voice, the 'passive' word refers to the inactive subject who was active in the active voice.

For example:

1. Mohan plays cricket.(here subject Mohan is active)
2. Cricket is played by Mohan.(here subject Mohan is passive)

When active voice is changed into passive voice, 'by ' is used.
Now read the attachments for the actual explanations and practice exercise.
