Dear Students,
Congratulations! Wishing you a Fantastic Republic Day 2017!
Who will make India the world's most powerful nation?
The Answer is YOU!
You are the citizens of future. You are responsible to make India proud. Hope you will stand rock hard in every situation and the world will be proud of you.
We celebrate Republic Day every year on 26 January. The National Flag rise high across India. Our President unfurls the Tri Color in New Delhi. Everyone recites National Anthem.
Do you know the reasons for celebrations?
On 26 January 1950 India get its own Written Constitution, i.e. the Constitution of India and the country became Republic. Since then we celebrate the Birthday of Our Republic, as the Republic Day. This day is a reminder to take the pledge to fulfill our duties towards nation building.
Our constitution gives us rights and duties and directs the governments and legal systems to make sure that every individual living on this land should fulfill his / her responsibility. The constitution of India was prepared by Constituent Committee under the leadership of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar; he is called the Architect of the Constitution of India.
The Constitution of India is World's Best Written Constitution in the world.
We all know, India got freedom from British Raj on 15 August 1947. History teaches about the great freedom fighters, their courage, passion and hunger for freedom. Millions of lives lost in India's Freedom struggle to give us a Free India.
The work of great men and women to fight for Freedom includes many Greats whose name shall remain written in the Golden Book of Indian History till the human race shall exist on the planet Earth. The likes of Vivekananda, Ramakrishna Paramhansa, Sri Aurobindo, Bankim Chandra Chatterjee, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, Rabindranath Tagore and Dadabhai Naoroji and millions more are the Heroes of the Indian Freedom Struggle.
We have to learn from history and strengthen ourselves in every department.
Amongst everything, the greatest strength is of unity. Unity is the sharpest weapon; dare anyone can see towards us when we are united! Unity has enormous strength. History has proof of it.
The Great Saint, Mahatma Gandhi gave us freedom without any use of violence. There was no space for violence in Gandhiji's life and work. He didn't used any power to throw away British. But Mr. Mountbatten was afraid of peaceful Gandhi Ji and his team.
Lord Mountbatten, the last British Governor General to India was sent by British Queen to fight back and strengthen the roots of British Power in India. But he was helpless in front of Bapu. The Charisma of the Father of the Nation was enormous. 'Gandhi Ji never walked alone; where he gone; whatever the path he started to travel; rest of Hindustan followed the same path.
The sound of 'Gandhian Silence' was deafening to Madam's ears in Britain. The so called 'superior white skin' turned inferior suddenly. The Tri Color rose on the Historic Red Fort in New Delhi at the dawn of 15 August 1947. India became free country, free from every evil and ready to make its mark.
Read history and you will know the Cost to Freedom. Millions of lives lost fighting for freedom. Starting from First Freedom Struggle in 1857 our heroes continuously nourishes the plant of freedom with their own blood. That's why; today we are the Largest Republic in the World.
On the Occasion of Republic Day on 26 January, The Honorable President of India unfurls the National Flag in New Delhi; celebrations happen across India on the tunes of "Jan Gan Man…" the National Anthem. This is the day to remind us about the legacy that our ancestors handed over to us, the legacy of free India and to carry forward that legacy for which future generations will be proud of.
You, the today's children are the tomorrow's guardians. In future, the responsibilities will be on your soldiers to make India proud. I hope you the nation builder will build stronger India with great unity.
On the Occasion of the Birthday of Great Indian Republic, I extend my Best Wishes for all your future endeavors.
'Jai Ho!' Congratulations. Very-Very Happy Republic Day 2017!
Thanks ~ Jai Hind!!!
