Hello Kids! At first, we from StudyVillage wish you and your family a very Happy Dipawali. We love this festival because of lights, fire crackers, gift distribution etc. But do you know why do we celebrate the festival? Do you know Rama the superhero of the holy book 'Ramayana'? The villain there was 'Ravana'. The wife of 'Purushottama Rama' was 'Sita', who was kidnapped by the villain 'Ravana'. Rama's one of the brothers was 'Laxmana'.

He along His brother, Bibhishana, Banar-raj Sugriv, Hanumana and some others defeated the villain and set His wife, Sita, free and came back to Ayodhya after 14 years. On His return and conquering Lanka, the entire palace of Ayodhya was decorated with light lamps. Since then this festival is celebrated as Dipawali. So, now you know the reason.

Here are some greetings cards for you to download. All you have to do is -- just half-fold it, color, write some message and gift to your friends and family. Find the attachments below. You are welcome to download as many copies you want.

Once again A very happy Dipawali from StudyVillage team.
