How to make a Turtle Craft?

Today is 23rd May and this day is celebrated as World Turtle Day each year. In school children make turtle drawing and sometimes they wear green turtle dress and perform at the stage to make awareness among children about turtles. Sometimes school also organise a visit to National Parks and Sanctuaries for turtle search where children search and see the turtle. On this day you can wear a turtle print T-shirt also. As you are staying at your home these days, to celebrate this day, you can make a turtle craft.
Today, I am here with a very easy cardboard craft. It can be made with in a few minutes and believe me kids will really enjoy it. Now, I am telling you how to make a turtle from waste material?

What are the requirements?

1. Empty walnut shell
2. Cardboard
3. Pencil
4. Marker
5. Glue stick
6. Colours (Optional)

Method

• First of all, take a small cardboard piece and draw a turtle as shown in the picture.
• Cut the turtle and remove extra part of cardboard.
• Now take an empty walnut shell and keep it on the centre of turtle and make an outline.
• And cut and remove the inner circular part of the turtle.
• Now insert the empty walnut shell in the hollow part of the turtle.
• Make a design on the shell as shown in the picture.
• Draw eyes (googly eyes can also be used if you have) and mouth of the turtle as shown in the picture.
• You can colour the body of the turtle if you want to do so.
